On 1st of May 2016, Migme e-Commerce Indonesia just launched a new e-Commerce site in their portfolio. It is called Sold.id (www.sold.id). Online store that will focus on selling electronic and gadgets products. For now, Sold Indonesia has 4 main categories: Handphones, Tablets, Audio, and Accessories. We have the top brands such as Apple, Samsung, Lenovo, Asus, Sony, Sennheiser, etc with the plan of expanding to other electronic areas. The site is still on beta launch, we’re planning to do the full launch in the next couple months.
You might ask yourself, how the hell do we plan to survive in this brutal area? Well, one thing to remember, this is not our first time entering e-Commnerce business. After having successful portfolios in 2 niche verticals (lifestyle & sport) with Shopdeca and Sportdeca, and knowing that Indonesians use their gadgets more than anyone else in the world. We see there is still a huge demand in the market that we can fill in. Equipped with our lessons in Indonesia’s e-Commerce, along with our network in gadget industry, and the support of the whole Migme network, we believe Sold Indonesia has a potential to penetrate the market.
The prediction says, there will be 100 million smartphones in Indonesia by 2018. It’s an opportunity that we want to be a part of. Our focus is not competing with the like of Lazada, MatahariMall, Bhineka, or Elevenia. Our focus is providing the best products with the best service possible. We plan to stay niche and be specific on what we do. That way, we can serve our customers better.
