Kejora Capital Funds ranked among the world’s top performing funds
Kejora Star Capital II has been named as one of the world’s top performing fund by Preqin inits latest 2020 Preqin Global Private Equity & Venture Capital Report. Kejora Capital is the only firm from Southeast Asia to be included on the top 10 list.
Kejora Capital, one of Southeast Asia’s largest Venture Capital Firms, currently oversees more than US$350 Million in in assets under management (AUM) across three different funds: Kejora Star Capital I (KSC I; Early-Stage Fund of 2014 Vintage), Kejora Star Capital II(KSC II; Early-Stage Fund of 2017 Vintage), and InterVest Star Southeast Asia Growth FundI (Growth Stage Fund of 2018 Vintage).
The 2020 Preqin Global Private Equity & Venture Capital Report stated that 86% of Limited Partners (LPs) intend to allocate as much or more capital to the private equity (including venture capital) asset class in 2020. This marks an increase in allocation of institutional investors to alternative assets and underscores promising prospects of the industry. As such,87% of LPs surveyed said that returns in 2019 had either met or exceeded their expectations.
As of March 2020, KSC I and KSC II are ranked in the top quartile both globally and across Southeast Asia in Preqin’s league table, with KSC I delivering a net Internal Rate of Return(IRR) of 33.8% and KSC II delivering a net IRR of 95.8% by Q3 2019.
