Wobe represents Indonesia & Asia in the Final Round of Unilever’s International Startup Competition
Remember Wobe? The daring women graduates of Ideabox Batch 2?
The mesmerising financial and business mobile app for women is getting another big hype. Just this May, Wobe gracefully represent Indonesia and Asia in the Final Round of Unilever’s International Startup Competition, the Unilever Global Scale Up 2015. The competition was held by Unilever Foundry, the hub for Unilever’s collaboration and engagement with technology innovators in tandem with UK’s 2015 Digital Shoreditch Festival.

The festival includes a five-minute presentation and further five-minute Q&A to a panel of judges; Jan Harley, director at Unilever Ventures, Rose Lewis, co-founder of Collider and Tarah Feinbery, CMO of Kite.

Unfortunately after a series of scorching pitches and deliberate evaluations from the judges panels, Glimr emerged as the Grand Winner. But hey for Wobe, being crowned as the Best Marketing Scaleups of Asia does not sound really bad, does it?
